Post-MBA goals
Take up a career in Technology Consulting. Use my knowledge gained in the banking domain to fill up the existing gaps in the finance services sector. I am looking for a career change in the same field I am currently involved in. An MBA from a good college will surely improve my chances to get the right role.

I am planning to apply to Cornell, UCLA and CMU this round. Need your advice.
Thank you in advance!![/b]

Hey there,

Thanks so much for posting! First off - you should REALLY take your resume off your post. It has your phone number and address on it. BTG is a pretty good community but still never a good idea!

So let's see what we've got here...

[Academics]

Great school, solid GPA, and a fantastic GMAT (congrats!!). You're covered here. Moving on...

[Experiences]

It seems you have some good work experience here with a little impact and leadership sprinkled in. On a side note, stay away from saying things like, "set an example" in your resume. You're clearly a strong performer, however, and that's fantastic.

[Involvement]

Anything here?

[Goals & Schools]

The schools you've listed are all good options. Any of the top 20 can get you into Tech consulting but you're looking at a good tier. Your GMAT will open doors that your work experience might not have. Maybe take a look at McCombs or Duke too!

Hope that helps - good luck!
