Hi,

The answer is B but why not 1)? if n^2 is integer, I thought n also must be an integer.... Can anyone explain why 1) is insuf?







PS .... I thought I posted the same question before but could not search it...so sorry if I duplicate the question...

If n is a number such as sqrt(3), then n^2 = 3, but n is not an integer, n = 1.73205...
