Dear Aspirant,

Yes, you can get admission to the BTech in Computer Engineering through lateral entry after completing 3 years diploma in any engineering. Being an alumnus of LPU let me share the eligibility of BTech(lateral) in CSE at LPU with you.

To get a seat in the programme, you should have passed with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) 3 years after 10th Or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) Or BSc (Non-Medical) Or BSc. (Computer Science) Or BCA or equivalent+LPUNEST.

(The 5% relaxation in marks is given to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants).

The maximum package availed by the student for CSE is Rs. 42 LPA.

Tie-ups with Industries: LPU has tie-ups with many reputed industries such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrad. Comptia, Transorg, Geeksforgeeks, etc that help students to explore themselves more in their field.

Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors.

Specializations Offered: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc.

I hope this helps
