Harvard's Essays

by LawGirl30 » Mon Mar 05, 2012 12:49 pm
Any crystal ball predictions as to whether Harvard essays will change this year? I'm working on my Fall 2013 app and plan on applying in R1 (Oct 2012) for them. I'm assuming the 3 accomplishments essay and Why MBA? essay will remain the same. But, since the essay prompts changed somewhat dramatically this year, I'm wondering if I should bother writing my 3 setbacks (or writing about something I wish they had asked!) That being said, the content I want to convey is going to be the same regardless of the prompts -- I guess the spin will just have to be different if the essays are dramatically different.

Whoa! I'd love to see someone answer this one! But they'd have to be a spy. :)
Your guess is as good as ours until they release the questions, but some sort of setback/failure question has been a standard of HBS applications (and many others) for years and years.
