Hello,
I recently appeared for my second attempt to GMAT and scored 650 (Q 46, V 34). In my first attempt I got 610.
I was aiming to apply in R3 this year, before appearing for my second attempt. However, now I am a bit apprehensive ,if applying with this score at this time would be a wise decision or not.
Request you to kindly help me with my profile evaluation:
GMAT - 1st attempt-610
2nd attempt-650
CGPA - 6.5/10
Work exp. - 6.5 years with a US based IT company in India.
I am looking forward to pursue an MBA in Finance. Considering this I wanted to apply to colleges like Wharton, Kellog, INSEAD, Stern NY and ISB.
I am looking forward for best advice in such a scenario. Should I reappear for GMAT and apply in next year R1 cycle ?
Thanks

sorry for the late response.
Yes, I should wait for next year, Round 3 will be very tough regardless of your stats, Round 1 will be more forgiving. You would really need to get your GMAT up considerably. Also consider your volunteer and extra curricular activities, they will be important in terms of helping you standout. cheers, alex
