Taking 9 week course in 2 weeks

by calical » Sun Nov 08, 2009 3:27 pm
What should I study before my 9 week coure starts on 11/22/09?
I have no experince taking GMAT, but I am looking to get at least in 600's first try.
What can I do to make that happen?

Hi there!

I'm glad you signed up for our 9-session course! Fortunately, the course goes over everything you need so you don't need to do much before it, but if you feel like you would like to get a head start, I would suggest the following:

1.Take our free math diagnostics test, which you can find here: https://www.manhattangmat.com/foundations-math.cfm

2. If, after taking the diagnostic, you feel like you need a little bit of extra math, sign up for our foundations of math workshops, which are free to students in our course. You can also view recordings in your student center if you can't make the live workshops.

3. Before starting the class, make sure to take your first (and free) CAT exam. This shows up on the first page of your student center when you log in (the student center is here: https://www.manhattangmat.com/practicecenter.cfm.) If you haven't yet signed up for the course you can access your free CAT here: https://www.manhattangmat.com/free-gmat.cfm

4. If you really want to get a head start, check out the syllabus for our course here: https://www.manhattangmat.com/Bigfiles/C ... udents.pdf and start doing some reading in the books.

Good luck with your studying, and let me know if you have more questions!
