Today while doing my MGMAT CAT 4 I mistakenly started the Quantitative section without entering "75 minutes" in the "total time for the entire section".I had to pause my exam as i couldnt go back to that screen. How do i go back to that screen? Alternatively, I took MGMAT CAT 5 without the AWAs.
Please advise.

Hi visa1416,
Unfortunately, you can't go back and change the timing once you've started an exam. The next best thing would be to take the test with a stopwatch or use your computer clock to keep time.
In general, keep in mind that your performance on practice tests will vary depending on the conditions you set for yourself. The more GMAT-like the conditions are, the more accurate of an assessment you'll have. With that said, though, it's important to not place too much emphasis on the actual score you receive because the practice test can only generally approximate your "true" ability level. Instead, view your assessment reports after the test is over to gauge your relative weaknesses and spend more time studying these areas.
I hope this helps. Good luck studying!

Hello Michael ,
Thanks for your reply.
The clock is mistakenly set to 30 minutes for the entire section. Will this mean that the section will end after 30 minutes and the questions that i could not attempt will be lost?
If i exit the test, Will i be able to take it after finishing all the 6 tests?
do write back.
regards,
visa1416

Hi visa1416,
Unfortunately, this does mean that you only have 30 minutes to complete the section instead of the full 45 minutes. If you end the test in the middle and then contact [email protected] we can reset that particular exam so you can re-take it. Keep in mind, however, that any work you have done on it thus far (including the awa section) will be lost after resetting.
Good luck!
