I just took my Kaplan free diagnostic test and got the following score:
Quant % :92
Verbal % : 83
Overall Score: 710
But what is strange here is that I got 13 Questions wrong in Quant and 19 wrong in Verbal!!
Whereas I gave Princeton Review (free) test 3 days back and got the following score:
Overall Score : 670
Quant 46(3 Wrong)
Verabal 37 (10 Wrong)
After having so many wrong questions in Kaplan how can I possibly score so high??
Please suggest what is happening here or if you have faced something similar.
Thanks
Do Kaplan tests give high scores??

Hi swatiguli,
The GMAT is an adaptive exam. Your score is generated based not just on the number but the difficulty of the questions you got right and wrong; number correct is not in itself a good way to tell what you score should be!
That said, I can understand why you might have questions about the accuracy of those particular scores. If you can send me a PM with the email that you used to register for the practice exam, I'll be happy to forward it along to the folks who look at these things, and let you know if something is funny with the test. We don't want you to have any doubts!
Let me know how else I can help, and good luck with your prep.
Best,
