Kaplan books - GMAT

by confuse mind » Sun Mar 11, 2012 12:01 pm
I am very confused while browsing through the book store for Kaplan books as there are so many books available. I request the Kaplan folks to please throw some light on the salient features and which book is recommended to be used at what level so that I can best may requirements and get the best benefits. I suppose this thread will help many :)

1. Kaplan GMAT Premier
2. Kaplan GMAT Comprehensive
3. Kaplan Advanced
4. Kaplan 800
5. Kaplan GMAT Verbal Workbook
6. Kaplan GMAT : Strategies, practice and review
7. Kaplan GMAT Verbal Foundations

My major weakness is Verbal and I am looking to target a good score ~750.

Hi confuse!

Kaplan GMAT premier is the book to start. It contains the most problems, and the most strategies; it is the core of any Kaplan self-study package.

I'm not sure about GMAT Comprehensive or Advanced; those sound sort of like our classroom courses, not published books. Can you clarify?

The Verbal Foundation book is just that: a book for students struggling with the foundations of the Verbal Section. The Verbal Workbook is higher-level Verbal material.

I hope this helps!
