I have been prepping for the GMAT for the last 4 months. I would like to take my current score of 670 to a 730. I am located in Paramus NJ. I am looking for private tutoring 3 days a week 3hrs per lesson totaling 9 hours per week. If you think you may be able to help me please provide me with your contact information. Looking for someone who has personally scored a 760+ to help me.

Hi coolo,

Before you potentially spend a lot of money on that type of service, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals. It might be that what you're asking for - and what you actually need - are not the same thing.

Studies:
1) What study materials have you used so far?
2) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for each)?
3) Is your 670 an Official GMAT Score or a CAT Score? If you've taken the Official GMAT, then how did you score (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?

Goals:
4) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
6) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hi Coolio,

Happy to discuss options with our GMAT experts. Typically, our clients improve up to 150 points, even after studying with other modes and programs. To begin, I'm curious knowing:
  • How you've been prepping to date,
The number of hours (and general time of day of study),
    Materials including diagnostic tests,
Your score 4 months ago on whatever pre-test or diagnostic you took before you started.
As I'm sure you realize, the higher your score, the harder it is to gain points typically, however, yours is an improvment we see regularily. Typically, students don't meeet 9 hour per week - - so I'm also curious how you came up with this number. The goal of the tutor working with you is to make sure you have the highest yield topics covered, then fine tune your performance, strategy and knowledge, as needed.

Our tutors score 760 and higher, consistently, but more importantly, they know how to translate their own success into that of our students.

You can reach me at 917-805-6015 - - by text is typically best. You can also make an appointment with me here: https://calendly.com/directortpny/30min

What I'd recommend for starters is for you to take our quiz and for you to submit a GMAC (ideally) diagnostic test (screen shots of the questions you answered incorrectly), and we'd tell you how many hours we recommend. It would be far less than what appears you're budgeting for...and I'm confident we can help you achieve our score goal.
