by goncalo08 » Wed Nov 01, 2006 11:20 am
hello everyone

i recently purchased the princeton review cracking the gmat with dvd book and just wondering if anyone knows how accurate those four practice tests are to the actual gamt test. please let me know and also i also have the gmat prep software but ive taken it a couple of times and the questions are starting to overlap but i am taken the gmat in less than three weeks and need a practice test the will help me prepare . any advice would be greatly appreciated.

These practice tests are actually pretty good. When I prepped for the GMAT, I felt like my scores in Princeton Review closely reflected my actual GMAT score. Also, I thought that PR imitated GMAT questions fairly well (of course nothing beats OG or GMAT Prep!).

Bottom line--I think the PR books will provide you good material for additional practice.

Best of luck! You are almost there!

You might want to get the Kpaln book w/ CD as well. If you need to take a LOT of tests, consider: www.800score.com.

Kaplan's tests are probably too tough, while 800score's aree too easy.

Keep working hard.

In my experience the PR tests are very close to the real thing.

Kaplan is good for practice for tough questions, but PLEASE ignore the scores. They'll freak you out.

Well said, delfosse. I thought the exact same thing when I was preparing for the GMAT!
