PASSING THE 500 MARK to REACH 570

So as the subject states, I've been having some trouble passing the damn 500-520 point mark, and it's been just about 6 months that I've been studying. Anyone else experiencing the same problems? Anyone figure out what the missing link in learning could be? Any advice on how to reach 570+?

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you're looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) What type of study routine have you been following? How many hours have you studied during a typical week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for each)?

Goals:
4) Is your ultimate Goal Score 570 or something higher?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

If you've been studying for 6 months and haven't seen much score increase, it's likely that you're focusing far too much on CONTENT and not enough of TECHNIQUE.

You need to master your timing strategy, have a game plan for every problem type, review your work deeply so you know what careless errors you're prone to, and know what traps the GMAT test writers like to set.
