Hey all,
I plan on taking the GMAT sometime in the next 6 months. I have spent a little over a month working through the entire Official 2016 GMAT (GMAC) book and then took 1 practice test from the GMAT website. I scored a 730 (44 verbal, 47 quantitative, and 7 integrated reasoning). While I am happy with this score, I want to make sure that I can maintain this score consistently and possibly improve this score.
I have a few questions:
1. What book(s) should I buy to continue in my preparation (Manhattan, GMAT etc.)? If Manhattan, should I buy the two foundation books, or should I skip those?
2. What practice tests should I be taking and how often?
Thank you!

Hi drewjr28,
A 730 is an outstanding initial CAT Score. Assuming that you took this CAT in a realistic fashion, this score shows that you're a really strong critical thinker. The missing points that you're looking for in the Quant section will likely require a bit more focus on Quant Tactics, pattern-matching, etc., but you likely won't need 6 months to hone those skills.
1) What is your goal score?
2) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
3) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
