GMAT coaching in Gurgaon

by Phoenix72 » Mon Dec 24, 2012 11:17 pm
Hi All,

Can you please suggest some good coaching institute in Gurgaon. I have taken GMAT once before and got a 610(Q-42,V-31) with self study. I need to pull up my scores to cross 700 margin and have to take the exam by mid Feb 2013.

Will really appreciate some recommendation on institutes or private tutions.

Regards,

The popular coaching institutes teaching GMAT in Gurgaon include PythaGurus, Career Launcher, Jamboree, and Princeton Review

Among these Career Launcher has by far the best verbal faculty for GMAT, followed by PythaGURUS.

My suggestion: If you want sound guidance on the Verbal section go to CL (sector 14, old dlf market)and ask for a demo class from an instructor named Neeti.

If you are looking for a complete QA+VA package and do not care much about a few extra INRs, you may pay a visit to PythaGurus and ask for a demo.

All the other coaching institutes may not be too beneficial if you are looking for a 700+ score.

Hi Phoenix72,
Did you take a Demo class at either of the places suggested by iceman? I'd like to know your views on the quality of instructors over there

Thanks a ton for the suggestions.
I took a demo class of Jamboree & liked the Quant tutor's teaching method. For verbal i have joined e-GMAT online coaching.

So i might finalize with Jamboree. Not tried CL & PG yet.

Cheers.

@Phoenix72, I'm planning to appear for GMAT in April...
Can you provide review about Jamboree and did they deliver what you anticipated? How's Pythagurus? I need to work and focus on my verbal stuff.

Hi Iceman,

I am new to GMAT prep and I visited quite a few coachings in Gurgaon.
I attended demos in Jambooree,Princeton and Pythagurus but was disappointed with their teaching.
Seems like I have to prepare with the help of Beat The GMAT only.
Could you please tell me if you know some really good for GMAT VA in Gurgaon.

Regards,
Intrepid7

Hi Intrepid7,

I have seen them all too and i have a similar opinion as yours. However, i finally happened to come across awesome teachers in Gurgaon with very strong verbal and quant tutoring skills for the GMAT. I strongly suggest you to go and attend their demo session. For more details about them please send me personal message.

Cheers!

Iceman,

I am also a new member of this beat the GMAT community.
I am currently posted in gurgaon and was looking for a good GMAT prep institute.
From the above mentioned discussion and my personal visit to few of biggies in GMAT prep,I am looking for better options.
I have heard of a group of 740 plus scorers in GMAT and their own venture in Gurgaon, planning to attend their demo pretty soon.
But I would also love to check other options in the town.
Can you kindly PM me the details for the demo sessions of the teachers whom you know ??

Many thanks,
GMATBUSTERS

Hello All,
I am new to this group and want your feedback regarding good coaching institutes for GMAT.
I plan to take the test by July and target a score above 700.
As of now, I am just going through the OG pdf edition.
I would want to go for Test Series rather than Regular Coaching.
Kindly help!!

Thanks,

What is the test series, and how many tests does it offer? Do they also evaluate the tests, and help you with weak areas (from the analysis)..I am going to be taking the test for the second time, and wouldnt mind driving up to Gurgaon to take tests and work on my weak areas if that comes recommended from those that have experienced it. I only need quant tests..

Wonderful GMAT takers,

Can any of you provide contact details of specialised/specific GMAT instructors for a candidate who is aiming to score 740 atleast in Sep '13.

I see above posts and realize that institutes in Gurgaon can only help to reach 650 or 700 and do not have specialisation in both Quant and VA to take your score to 740. Hence, looking for specific instructors.

Please email the contact details of such instructors at [email protected].

Will really appreciate if details can be provided faster, since I have to start my coaching in this weekend.
