Profile review Very low GPA, Decent GMAT

by AlexJir » Sun Dec 30, 2018 3:14 am
Hi, everyone!

Please help me with profile valution:

here is the information:
WE:

Working at P&G for 2 years as a financial analyst
Worked at Philip Morris as a financial analyst for 1 year

Education:
Undergrad GPA - 2,1 (Finance)
GMAT 760

Living in Bosnia.

How likely is that for me to break into M7 or Insead with those stats above?
Or am i just wasting my time by trying to make it happen?

Thanks for your response,
Alex

Hi Alex,
Interesting question! Love that GMAT!
I was just looking at these statistics a couple of days ago: https://www.mbadataguru.com/blog/admissi ... e-analysis. Realistically, you should probably take HBS and Columbia off your short-list, but other M-7 schools won't automatically be closed to you, especially if you can augment that awesome GMAT with strong leadership, active community involvement, and a good personal story.
Good luck!
