Reappearing for GMAT

by crazyonMBA » Thu Jun 15, 2006 6:27 am
Stacy,
This could be a very common question to you, but this is a very critical question for me as i have to plan myself based on this.
I have taken GMAT a couple of times and averaged 540 both the times. I would like to give it one more try. Let me know will it affect ones profile when he is going to repeat the GMAT Test.

many thanks
crazy

If you can improve your score, it will absolutely be to your benefit to retake. You are not penalized for multiple attempts. Schools look at your highest scores (which are frequently self reported and confirmed by official report after admission). Improving your score beyond a 540 will definitely help. The only negative in this situation is: if 540 is your personal best, another retake may not be the best use of your time.
