A few years ago I graduated from a decent university (top 15) known for some grade deflation. My degree is in something not finance-related. Due partly to health issues that popped up my freshman year my college career was very underwhelming and I finished with a GPA around 2.3 cumulative.

Recently I was able to get my own insurance and my health is now the best it has been since freshman year. I've been considering accounting and see that some schools offer a masters of science in accounting program for people without an accounting background in undergrad. Unfortunately my GPA is way too low to apply to any decent school in my area. It doesn't seem like scoring well on the GRE/GMAT will be enough to make up for my poor GPA
