Verbal is killing me!!

by ProGMAT » Wed Sep 17, 2014 5:58 am
Hi,

I am a software engineer from India with Engineering background. I have been planning to take the GMAT from last year but due to work load, I was not able to continue my studies consistently.
I have taken a few mocks as well as I have given old GMATPrep exams 4 times.I am not using new software because I want to save the questions for my quality practice just before my GMAT. I was planning to take the GMAT this September but as I was not scoring well in mocks, I postponed my plans till next month. I have solved OG 13 as well as MGMAT Guides and MGMAT mocks. My mock scores are as below:

I have also taken GMAT Prep old for practice purpose and results are as follows:

My major concern is verbal and my target score is 730.
Can someone please help me out in how to move forward from here. I have already recalled the mistakes and I am currently revisiting the material. I can see that Verbal is the major concern for me and In verbal too RC and then CR. I also struggle in concentrating the core of the RC passages.

Currently I am devoting 6-7 hours daily on studies. And I can continue it till next 2-3 weeks. Please suggest one month strategy concentrated on verbal so that I can score well on my final attempt at the GMAT.

Thanks and Regards.
