Hi there,
Could you explain the concept of this DS in simplest way
If x and y are positive integers, what is the value of x + y ?
(1) 2expo(x).3expo(y) = 72
(2) 2expo(x).2expo(y) = 32

Break down to 2's and 3's.
stm1.
2^x mult 3^y = 72
break 72 down to 2 and 3's. 2 2 2 3 3
so we get X + Y = 5

stm 2.
same thing 2^x mult 2^y = 36
2 2 2 2 2 = 32
x + y = 5
