okay, now i've used all the tricks in the bag.. so please give me some new ones . I will list these in bullets so its easy on your eyes... (please note that i am very desperate and need as much help/advice/tips you can give me)

Materials used:
1. MGMAT 8 guides
2. Powerscore CR bible - as my CR was a weak area.. judging by today's test performance, it STILL is.
3. OG 12th ed, QR and VR

CATs
1. MGMAT all 6 CATS
2. Kaplan 5 CATs
3. 800 Score ( did only 3 of these, didnt like the type of questions)
4. 198 Questions from GMAT prep shared by our rocking Zuleron!!
5. Actual GMAT prep ( 4 times)

On the test today, i was struggling with some of the CR questions . My SC is strong and RC is also reasonable. its the CR that pilled down my score to 33.
please suggest are there more things i can do? i had taken 6 weeks off from work for the test and was totally disappointed on seeing these results. please help. my target is atleast a 730

Adding a few more details that would let you help
1.GMAT prep 2(V40,Q48)
2.GMAT prep 2 retake(Q50,V48) 780 - highly inflated as a lot of questions on Quant were repeated
3.GMAT prep 1 720(Q48,V42)

MGMAT CATs
lowest 630 and highest 710

Kaplan
560 to 650

800 Score tests 690 to 720

I've spent more time analyzing my tests than the actual time spent on tests , and read through the Powerscore CR to help improve CR. but on today's actual GMAT, i was stumped by quite a few CR questions towards the end and pressed for time, i had to guess and move forward. That cost me. So timing is clearly an issue i faced today along with CR.
please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try this. Go through the Powerscore CR Bible again, except this time, make flash cards highlighting every important concept. On these cards, you should have info for what to look for when answering each question type. Also, make flash cards that highlight common wrong answer characteristics. This should help. Good luck.

Tough breack. That is, of course, a very respectable score. I'm not one of the "experts" - just someone who's done a whole lot of studying and is taking the test fairly soon. My 2 cents is that you are there. You're practice scores are excellent. You must know what you need to know.

It seems like maybe you psyched yourself out on test day? My best idea is to sign up again and take the month to review what you said you had problems with - CR. You're inches away from an awesome score (one that I hope to get as well). I think next time you'll walk in knowing what's what and you'll have an extra month of confidence and you'll do even better than your 730. Good luck!!

I'm going to ask you an honest question and I want an honest answer in return.

How many times did you read the bolded materials?

ok Dayne,
i will try to be as accurate as possible
1. MGMAT SC - 1 time in the learning phase and once in the review phase ( by review phase i mean taking CATs and working on weaknesses)
2. CR - learning phase , but i found Powerscore CR bible much later ( 1 month before the exam when i was in my review phase). still i managed to give it a good read and honestly a thorough read about once.
3. Quant - as you can see from my score, its pretty solid.. and i followed the MGMAT guides and gradually improved quant through MGMAT CATs and GMAT prep quant questions and tests.

on the test day, the last 5 questions were CR and i could not believe that i had to badly and randomly guess through all of them as i found them quite tough. Even initially in the exam, i got scared of the CR questions and i was doing well in SC.

Do you have any suggestions for me to improve CR by using existing books ? i am not sure if we get LSAT CR books in India.

Frankly, am extremely disappointed as well, as this exam has been a financial and a mental drain for me so far, but am stubborn and dont wanna give up...
:((((

powerscore is great to improve CR you need to read the book several times to fully grasp the concept and do quality (not quantity) OG problems
