The answer given is D but i am confused between A , D , E

guess i can reject A : because it suggests chairman belief .. rather than a fact and "ALL" people want him to resign bcoz of they want to be chairman ... I know its possible that some may have asked for resignation because of charges. but that's what is clearly stated in passage .. shence not fully convinced if should reject A ??

The answer given is D but i am confused between A , D , E

I would choose A as my answer. This is an inference question. The whole point of the letter from the chairman is to convince the shareholders that all those demanding his resignation want to take over control of the company.

Choice D --> We can't say anything about the steady expansion of the company from the information provided.

Choice E --> Completely out of context.

This is an inference question. I would agree if the question were to ask which statements support the argument.

Cannot decide between D and E. Can anyone brake down these two choices for me please
