A middleweight black hole weighs in at roughly 500 solar masses, hundreds of times more massive than the lightweight black holes produced by the collapse of individual stars but thousands or even millions of times less in its mass as the heavyweight giants that lurk in the centres of galaxies.
a)thousands or even millions of times less in its mass as
b) it is thousands or even millions of times less massive as
c) thousands or even millions of times less massive than
d) yet it is thousands or even millions of times less massive than
e) yet it is thousands or even millions of times less in its mass than
Ans = c
Would appreciate someone really explaining the rational behind this one.
Tricky SC :(

ok so looking at the choices the elimination of D and E were quite easy because But YET is not grammatically correct. We are left with ABC.
A and B suffer from ambiguity. THe word "IT" is ambiguous and we don't know what its reffering to. I personally think its reffering to middle weigh tblack hole because its singular. BUt theres no guanrantees. When we look at c there is no ambiguity at all.
Hope that makes sense.
HBS is the place to be.

ON MY WAY TO HBS......
The Ans is C. But my way of looking at this problem is a bit different. I would eliminate D and E because BUT YET doesnt make any sense.
I would eliminate and A and B since these two are using AS towards the end which would be gramatically wrong. We should be using THAN instead.
I hope I make sense!

I have started to realize that I am the one!!!
