you are making inaccuracy in algebraic writing

P^3-1 is the answer if you question is stated as (P+5+(P^3)*(-P-5))/(-P-5)=(P+5)/(-P-5) + (P^3)*(-P-5)/(-P-5)= -1+P^3 or P^3-1

(P+5+P^3(-P-5)) / (-P-5)=(P+5)/(-P-5) + P^3(-P-5)/(-P-5)=-1+P^3=P^3-1
