Toefl score query

by heyvishy » Fri Dec 04, 2009 6:30 pm
Hello folks,

I am planning to apply to top 20-30 US business schools (i.e mid-tier).
Being an international applicant to business school , i took toefl.
i score 97 on iBT

Reading Listening Speaking Writing Total
24 23 26 24 97

although most schools require above 100 , do i need to retake toefl again.
I have been in US for more than 2 years.

Please suggest.

Hey,

Yes a good TOEFL Score will leave a good impression on the Admission Committe, do try to give your TOEFL Again.

Scoring less the expected and required score will be taken as negative.

Cheers

Kepping the toefl score subject alive. I got a 104, which is the minimun required at Booth. Columbia and Wharton don't have minimuns, I have no idea what they require.

Does anyone know if its ok to apply with such a low score? I have a 730 gmat and a 5.0 AVA to balance things out.

Thanks,
