Hi,

I am kind of very confused right now. I had given my gmat in november 2009, and wanted to apply after that. But I was so much drained and involved at work, that I cudnt really apply to any of the schools in the US and Uk that I'd thot of applying to! Right now, Im thinking whether I should apply to two schools (warwick and lancaster) who have deadlines of 31st May and 31st June resp.

My dilemma is, should I apply to these schools that are essentially my backup schools, and defer them so that I can have a chance to apply to my other preferred top 30 schools, or should I apply to all of them in october this year??

really confused, and need some expert help, esp regarding deferrals!!

Thanks

Hello,

I think it would be a mistake to believe that you can obtain a deferment from the programs you mention. Deferments are difficult to obtain and are not offered readily. It seems under the circumstances that it would make most sense to wait and apply early next round, unless you would be willing to attend Warwick or Lancaster should they accept you.
