Many daring vacationers who participate in guided boat tours on the Tarcoles River encounter native crocodiles lurking in the shallows, whose eyes and noses are peeking out from the surface of the murky water.

Any other opinions? I would have gone with A as well, but its incorrect according to MGMAT. They say D is the correct answer.

B encountered native crocodiles lurking in the shallows, whose eyes and noses peek out - eyes and noses refer to shallows

C had encountered native crocodiles lurking in the shallows, whose eyes and noses peek out - no 2 past actions

D encounter native crocodiles lurking in the shallows, with eyes and noses peeking out - Correct

E encounter native crocodiles lurking in the shallows, with eyes and noses that are peeking out eyes and noses that are peeking out - wrong usage
