Getting defeated is just a temporary notion, giving it up is what makes it permanent.

m+n=y+e+z+4
=(-5-4)+(n-y)+(10-e)+4
=5+e+y-y-e=5

m = (z + 4) and n = (y + e)

Hence, (m + n) = (z + y + e + 4)

Now, (z + e) = 10
And, (y + 4) = -5 --> y = -9

Hence, (m + n) = (10 - 9 + 4) = 5

The correct answer is C.
