Is sqrt(x-3)^2=3-x

(1) x does not equal 3
(2) -x*abs(x)>0

OA - B

Thanks!

(2) -x*abs(x)>0

If u see statement 2. for it to be true X should be <0

suppose X = -1

sqroot ( -1-3)^2 = 4 = 3-(-1)
hence sufficient .

Statement 1 doesnt say anything ,,

Hence B .

Hope it helps..

Sqrt(x-3)^2 = |x-3|

|x-3| = 3-x when x-3 < 0 ie x<3

Stmt 2 says x<0

So B is sufficient.

Thanks
