I know b-schools can check IP addresses of login and submissions by both the applicant and the recommender. One of my recommenders from a previous job paid me a visit to my apartment to catch up and stuff. He then went to my building's computer center to log in and print out the rec questions, so he could work on them. Since the building uses the same proxy, the IP address is similar to my laptop (first 6 out of 10 digits are identical). I'm wondering if this will be an issue or if i'm overanalyzing this.

Don't fret too much over it, just avoid the chance that he submits recos through same computer. Recos should be filled by the evaluators completely independently.
