There are rooms ranging from Standard Rooms to Apartments and students can opt for accommodation as per their convenience and choice. The Hostels are major of three types: 1. Standard Rooms : Standard Rooms are lodges like the arrangement where students can live in a shared 4/3/2/1-seater room with an option of having Air Cooled or Air-Conditioned Ventilation. 2. Apartments : Apartments are 1/2/3/4 seater rooms with attached washrooms. These facilities are constructed to provide luxurious accommodation. The apartment has a common kitchen area, dining and lobby area. 3. Dormitories : Dormitories are 1/2/3/4 seater shared rooms with 9-14 seaters. Facilities of Standard Rooms/Apartments/Dormitories Air Cooler, Bed, Study Table, Chair, Partitioned Almirah, Geyser and Common washroom 24 Hrs. Yes dear , LPU offers world's largest residential facility that provide roof to more than 25000 students at one time . More than 60000+ Meals served per Day. The facilities that are provided by university are as follows-
Separate residential facility for boys and girls within the campus.
Rooms with attached washroom, bed (without mattress), table, chair and almirahs.
Air cooler / Air Conditioner facility in each room (as opted).
Arrangement for power supply through dedicated 24 hours hotlines.
Geyser in each room to provide hot water in winters (scheduled timings) for two hours per room every day or as decided by the University.
In-campus Hospital with ambulance to provide medical assistance to students.
Internet connectivity through Wi-Fi system for scheduled timing for academic purposes only and subject to conditions.
Power backup for light load only (not for AC/ Geyser/ Air cooler).
Mess facility with vegetarian meals only.
Parking two wheeler/car facility at designated places only.
Gymnasium (optional on payment basis).
Students in residential facility are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Steamer, Shaving Set, Trimmer, Hair Straightener and Hair Dryer. Extra electricity bill due to the usage of these electrical items will be borne by the respective students.
