Hello All
I have been trying to get 650 on the GMAT for quite a while but with little success. My mock tests are in the 600's but I could not get that much in the official test.
With little success on the GMAT yesterday I thought why not look what the GRE is like. So just to test it out I installed the program for the very first time and gave a sample test. I skipped the Verbal section but gave the Quant (not under exam conditions). I scored 153 in Quant. I understand it's the average score but with practice it should improve.
So is it a wise decision to switch from GMAT to GRE for my MBA admission for next year?
Thanks
Should I try GRE instead?

Why not give it a shot! Most schools accept both and you should submit whichever is higher (on a relative scale). Best of luck!

Hi- yes- I think it can be a good strategy to switch to see how you can do on the GRE! Most programs are accepting the GRE- and while the GMAT is still the gold standard- I think in your case you have potentially much to gain- and little to lose- by trying this option. Best wishes to you!
