The key issue in this problem is the use of the word "like". In casual conversation, many people use "like" to mean "such as". However, they don't have the same meaning. "Such as" is used to introduce examples, while "like" is used to indicate similarity.
In our sentence, we want to say that

- bags, coolers, and kites are EXAMPLES OF eco-friendly products that the company makes
- discarded energy bar wrappers and yogurt cups are EXAMPLES OF the materials the company uses to make its eco-friendly products
