D says that any law should not show any moral obligations influencing the law. But the argument says that at times exception are taken into consideration because of moral grounds. So D is ruled out. Does that makes sense??

From i) The factors are 0,2,-3
From ii) The factors are 0,2,-7
Combining these we get two factors of X ie 0 and 2.
Since we can't say that only one value of x will satisfy both the equations as there are two values 0 and 2. The answer is E

What is the value of x ? (1) x^3 = 6x - x^2 (2) 14x = x^3 + 5x^2 HAVE FUN! :D (1) gives us x=0,-3,2 (2) gives us x=0,2,7 from (1) and (2) we get x=0,2 since the question asks what *is* (singular) the value of x, the answer must be (E), since from neither (1) or (2) can we get one single value for x...

The above is OG-12 Q#68...for kicking out C...OG says "having been cut...." is unnecessarily wordy....can someone please tell why the same is wordy....why the same cannot be kicked out on the basis of wrong tense....i.e. "having been" it says that activity was already completed ...

I wont comment on OG's explanation (Since we are playing GMAT's game). But yes I can explain why C is wrong. C says that Diabetes has rank blah blah blah... How can diabetes have rank?? I dont think it can have any rank...
