BrainFart,
I hate to pile on, but I think you'd be waisting your time/money if you apply before you get that GMAT score up.
Good Luck! J

I agree with Money - Moving to E Europe would demonstrate to the Adcom that 1) You are a team player; 2) You are not afraid to take risks; 3) You are interested in working in a multinational environment and; 4) That you have mulitnational work experience in a management/leadership role. This sounds ...

Martveni, I believe you have a slim chance of being accepted into either UCLA or USC with your current GMAT score. If these are schools you are set on, you should continue studying the GMAT. I'm sure you have dedicated a lot of time to the GMAT process but, if this is something you are interested in...

jrodgers, Both programs are highly thought of and I believe the programs are both ranked #16 in the world this year by the FT. Since these are equally good programs, you should focus on what you want to do after school. You said entrepreneurship - both are well known for entrepreneurship/social entr...

The MBA is more technical and career oriented than are other masters. A masters in finance, for instance, would be more theoretical than an MBA with a focus on finance.

Anuj,
Does CGPA mean converted GPA? If so, it should be on a 4.0 scale. Also, are you planning on applying directly after you graduate? Do you have any interseting leadership/teamwork experience? This info will probably help the consultant answer your question more thoroughly.

Nitya/Kevin, I'm sure you each have good reasons for applying this year and I wouldn't discourage you from doing so. (You will at least learn something). However, I know that if I had it to do all over again, I would begin studying in February for an April test in the hopes of applying for the follo...

Verne, Since you addressed the commmunity in your post, I will give you my two cents, as well. Firstly, I like your profile. I also have a high GMAT score, am an American, have good grades, and have a Masters degree from another country in a business related field. I also applied to three of the sch...

Karan,
Great to hear. I spent some time in Cergy as a kid because my dad was a visiting professor at ESSEC. Hope you accomplish all you want in life.

Money, CBS has rolling admissions, so they can call you to interview at any time before the posting date for the round (which I think is April 14th?). However, since I applied early in the rolling admissions cycle, my understanding is that they should notify me one way or another in the next few wee...
