i also picked E. I narrowed down my choice to B and E, but then I failed picking the right answer. It just sounded weird "hospital emergency rooms nationwide" as opposed to the "to emergency rooms of nationwide hospitals" The latter just seems to be employing more correct gramar....

I understand what you mean, but I still do not feel confident that we have the number of people who have both. I am aware of this formula, but this is where I lose the line of reasoning. GT= Group 1+ Group 2+ Neither Group- Both groups. GT= 1000 NG= 880 G1(F)= 20 G2(I)= ? BG=? So, I have two unknown...

Hi, This problem has been posted before, however, I cannot quite get the explanations given. Can someone attempt to explain to me a bit more clearly than the previos posts?! When 1,000 children were inoculated with a certain vaccine, some developed inflammation at the site of the inoculation and som...

the only best short cut i caould think of is this:
Sum= 166/2(6+966)/166(number of terms in order to find the mean)
this leaves us with 1002/2= 501

simple, just apply the sequence formula
This is the solution of this problem: Formula for sum for arithmetic sequence: S= N/2(A1+An) N- number of terms in the sequence. A1- 1st term An- last term. So problem asks a multiple of six greater than 0 and smaller than 1000. Such will be 6(1st term),12,18...966(last term) Number of terms- 166 No...

OA is A. from statement 1 you have the area of ABC. this is sufficient to answer the question. from statement 2 you have the length of one of the verticies. From here you can probably find the corresponding vertice of RCS, but you can not find the surface area. insufficient Two triangles are similar...

If A<Y<Z<B, is /Y-A/< /Y-B/?
If A<Y<Z<B, is /Y-A/< /Y-B/?
1) /Z-A/ < /Z-B/
2) /Y-A/ < /Z-B/
OA is D
I tried plugging both positive and negative values for A,Y,Z and B and I got different answers. So, I concluded that E is the answer. And my method was not time efficient.
Any ideas please?

I am going to double check if it (B) is written as far too cold or too far cold.
It is possible that it was my mistake when I was posting this. i appologize in advance for that.
