My brain is not working...

x + 3 < n – 1

How do you turn the above equation into x+n<2n-4 ???

I did the following.
x-n < -4
-1(x-n) > (-4)-1
n-x > 4

Am I missing something extremely obvious? This seems too easy to get stumped on.
