For sure I'm not the right guy to teach anyone how to get a high score. Two weeks ago I receive admission to the executive MBA, entry fall 2008, that I pursued with only 550. Remind that GMAT is only one of the issues that admission committees evaluate. A lot of people here take GMAT too serious fre...

By the way, I think that Lunarpower, one of the top experts here, took 800 last year. But don't really know what he has done with it. It doesn't seem that he has applied to a b-school. Perhaps it was only for the fun of destroying the monster.

Hi, Every year an average of 50 guys manage to score the perfect number. Considering that over 500.000 test takers take the GMAT per year, these guys are so rare that it's easier to find Bin Laden having lunch with Bush at your own dinning room. Are you willing to score 800? Go forward pal! But remi...

There is a typo in this question.

The question is (2^(x+y)^2)/(2^(x-y)^2) and the answer is 16.

The question has been discussed before. Make a search to find it.

Gave the GMAT yesterday afternoon, July 1, and scored poorly again. I was aiming for something above 600. Last saturday i did two Prep’s and scored 610 and 620 but with inconsistently verbal scores, my weak link. And that happened on real GMAT, i got my lowest verbal raw score ever. Two weeks before...

There is only one way to satisfy both statements (1) and (2), and that is when both x and y are positive.

Hi ektamatta, It took me almost 5 minutes. I'm sure there is a faster way. (1) says that t/7=n6, being n a integer t=42n, or t is multiple of 42. Pick 42 and 84 as t, replace it on the expression and you'll find R=6 for both (2) says that t^2/7=n t^2=7n or t^2 is a multiple of 7 Pick 7 and 14 as t^2...

Hi erjamit,

I would go with E also.

The statement says mod(A-B)=18 and mod(c-d)=8, what is the mod(B-D)?

(1) mod(C-A)=mod(C-B)
you get A=B or A+B=2C, INSUFF

(2) gives no relevant information concerning the question, INSUFF

(1+2) nothing new, INSUFF

Answer E
