I would, but it's in the OG book. Why not try it?

The problem is that I'm at work and it'd be wrong if I just took out my book right now in front of my colleagues!

Sleep Deprivation

I started working on Overlapping sets yesterday (I believe after spending a good 4-5 hours studying) and wasn't able to get any of my overlapping set questions right. Likely because I was too tired. I came home worried and in fact I didn't sleep all night thinking about this GMAT and how I didn't ge...

16) If the range is 0, then the SD must also be 0 => good as is piyushdabomb, your dataset:{-7 1 4 7} has range 14 and not 0 if range =0, the highest and the lowest numbers are the same which implies all numbers in between are also the same in an ordered set. so SD has to be 0. Good Call! 7 - (-7) ...

OG Questions by Category

Hey -

Does anyone have the OG 11th and OG 12th edition questions for both the PS and DS sections categorized by topic area in an Excel spreadsheet?

I know the sections are categorized in the answer key, but I'd rather work off an Excel spreadsheet. Anyone anyone?

Hey - Thanks for posting your thoughts. I read Staceys responses to the gent who asked the question, but Stacey does not explicitly explain how to successfully manage the Verbal and Quant simultaneously. Here is what I'm thinking for this week: Monday - Quant (2 hours) Tuesday - Quant (2 hours) Wedn...

A couple corrections? ... 16. If the range is 0, then the SD must also be 0, because there is no variance ... 19.Closer the more values to the MEAN, lower the SD ... 16) IMO, not true. This only applies to '+' numbers and numbers that are consecutive. Take the dataset {-7 1 4 7}, and you'll have a d...

CR vs RC - What to learn up first?

My diagnostic exam indicated that my weakest verbal areas are CR, followed by RC, followed by SC. I was told and have read online about how CR somewhat falls into place once you are good at RC.

Should I just follow through with RC and work on my CR after that (to see improvement?)

Weekly versus monthly strategy?

Hey, After researching quite a bit about the various study schedules I can employ during my GMAT study (which begins tomorrow), I have decided that I will create a 'weekly' study schedule and only assess my next weeks schedule based on my performance for that week. Is that a risky/safe way of handli...

Types of RC Structures?

Hey, I'm trying to get a sense for the types of RC passages that exist out there. I'm not talking about the content within the passage, but the 'framework' that exists for passages. For example, one framework the author might employ is to introduce a claim, provide the supporting evidence, and final...
