Essaysnark, THANK YOU. SERIOUSLY, THANK YOU. That genuine response should be an indication of the quality of the advice you are offering your clients and that response was really well thought out. I mean the big thing with me is this: you have virtually 40+ years of Berkshire Hathaway's history to c...

Essaysnark, Thanks for the response. I am not trying to be off-putting; however, it is frustrating when people say that could be the single reason why he was rejected. I mean, for all you know he could have had serious family issues at the time or some sort of traumatic life event or, in my case, I ...

Alex, With all due respect, the GMAT was also 10X easier 10 years ago. I took all of the practice ones from 2001 or 1999 or whenever it was and scored a perfect score on every single one of them. So there is that. Basically what you are all saying about gpa is that top tier schools have 0 ability to...

Lmar- Thanks for your thoughts and support. I guess that is just the difference between IQ and Emotional IQ. It will be interesting when I actually send in my apps; although, I am retaking the GMAT in the upcoming month so if I can swing a 700+, it will be very interesting to have interviews as whil...

Ron, To the first part, no not really. I just haven't had a chance to really study Neuroscience so I thought the question was relevant. Just because I didn't care about my GPA doesn't mean that I didn't have to pass the class or that I didn't find some of the information relevant to my career goals ...

Ron,
Quick question: if the upper threshold to learn is 4 hours, how come in college I could read an entire book the night before and get an A on the test the next day? I am not bragging, I just think either that is a really weird skill or what you said can't be correct. Thanks!

Hey Jim, Thanks for the thoughts. Yeah, I feel like I am right in that 680 ( on a bad day)- 740 on a real good day range. Last time I took a practice I scored a 720 but at this point there is definitely recognition issues and I feel like there is small holes in my knowledge (real tough DS questions ...

Can I get an experts opinion
If you went through the GMATPREP SC part of the Quesiton pack, what should your general hit rate be if you are aiming for a 700+? I missed 10 out of the 75 and I was wondering what an experts general thoughts are on that.

Brent- But For statement 1) 3.146, in standard mathematics you would round 3.146 to 3.15 which then rounds up, right? You don't just ignore the hundredths digit completely, ever. Unless of course I am miss informed. But, I mean let's say you are doing your physics homework and your answer comes down...

700orhigher,
Thanks for the reply, that is kind of what I figured as one of my good friends just got done with the MCAT and did real well, so it is interesting to hear from someone who has taken both. You would obviously hope the MCAT is harder than the GMAT .......
