The math MGMAT, Princeton Review, and Kaplan would have you prep for is frankly, just overkill. GMAT math problems are tricky, but they aren't "difficult." Test Prep math problems are flat out hard.

I think they are decent tests for practice, but I wouldn't read too much into the score. I got a 690 and a 700 on my first two MGMAT tests, and i got a 750 on my first GMAT Prep test. I have no idea what my real test score will be, but I'm guessing it will be closer to 750 than 700.

It would seem that the only reason someone would criticize you for retaking a 720, is if you scored in the 700-730 range the second time. I just took my first GMAT Prep and I got a 750. I think the subscores were Q49 and V42. It probably depends on your scoring range, and what your goals are. I think you definitely want to like at OG11 and work all the questions. It should be good enough to get you to a 700 level in math.
