I opt for (A).
a. Best available option.
b. Parallelism in the subject. but did not inspire imitation seems wrong to me.
c. poor sentence formation.
d. It seems that something else not artifacts inspired them. Wrong use of have been.
e. poor subject formation.

I will opt for the option A.

Rate of buyig=1/5

Rate of selling in loss=1/6
Rate of selling in Profit= 1/3

loss of one mango=1/5-1/6= 1/30

profit on one mango= 1/3-1/5= 2/15=4/30

So to break even (means Loss= Profit) ratio of the mangoes must be in ratio of the profit and loss=
1/30:4/30=1:4

Just another way-
if number is doubled, the remainder must also double i.e. remainder will become 48. Now when remainder is 11, then divisor must be 37 to leave 11 after division.

Just took the test, for first time. Scored 740 (Q-51/ V-38). Thanks everyone for this beautiful forum. I learned a lot from here and used the material posted here. I think this was one of the best forum as for as free GMAT site are considered.
