Also, for anybody else reading this thread, always check with the school about prerequisites. In some cases, depending on the school and program, exceptions can be made. In other cases, the rules are more ironclad.
Good luck,

I do not see a list. BeatTheGMAT has excellent GMAT resources. MBAPrepAdvantage also has an MBA Admissions Resources page with Test Prep Links (including articles, company reviews, companies, online resources and free practice exams).

Aakash, Definitely retake the GMAT given you are in the competitive Indian tech male applicant group. If you could bump your score into the 700's I think you might be competitive for the lower-part of the Top 15. Otherwise, you are reaching into the 15-20 with 20-25 more your target. So, to answer y...

Jimmy, To answer your questions: 1. You would want to obtain as high a GMAT or GRE score as possible. Given you were a math teacher, your quantitative section score should be in the 90+ percentile. 2. Your age will soon approach the average age of a student at a top 10 business school. I would focus...

Kaushik, What is most important is getting an A; the specific institution at which you take the class is secondary. However, you might look to see if your target business schools offer the class online as part of their executive education offerings. If so, then you can take the course there. If you ...

As others have stated the 610 will be an issue. Definitely retake it to try to be competitive at NYU Stern and Columbia. Switching gears you might be instead be interested in Columbia's Masters in Strategic Communications or NYU's M.S. in Integrated Marketing or NYU's M.S. in Public Relations and Co...

That is a wide swath of programs and schools. I see your career goal is to co-found a firm in the middle East (Dubai) along with a friend. So, you might want to target INSEAD's Master in Finance (http://specialised-degrees.insead.edu/master-in-finance/) given that the school started a campus in Duba...

I would recommend you reverse-engineer it by employment. Look at what percentage of post-MBA employment is in energy (this will usually be in Full Time Statistics by Industry or the equivalent). Also, look at which companies hire from the schools. McCombs has 8% employment in Energy/Utilities ( http...

I have been away from this thread for a while. I was at our AIGAC Conference in Europe ( www.aigac.org ). If I am reading this correctly, the decision of an EMBA versus an MBA should not be based on trends. First of all the difference between an MBA and a GMBA is the inclusion of one or more interna...
