We can pretty much rule either D or E will be the OA because "shooting" doesn't create a dependent clause and is awkward. Because the rest of the sentence basically says the experiment was in the past since they already know the results, "has proved" would make the sentence corre...

I need a better strategy, too. I came down with A, C, and E and knew E had to be true because X and Y had to be opposite charges, but I couldn't rule out A or C.

There is a famous story told in India about a guy who was trying to dig a well to get potable water. He dug for about 5 mins when somebody passing down the road told him that he was foolish to try and dig there.. So he went to another place and dug for 10 mins. Another passerby told him he was fool...

Hey Paxton, Thanks for replying. I will keep you in the loop. My goal is to use Kaplan's admission consulting after I take my GMAT in November. I recently just submitted a bunch of questions on the Kaplan website, different than the one I posted here. I look forward to working with you or someone el...

Part Time MBA - profession and unemployment

Hey guys, I want to apply to a part time MBA within my area, but I have an unstable job in an unstable field. I work at a Bank that specializes in commercial real estate. We don't have the best rating. Will Part Time MBA schools look at where you work and put it into consideration? (for example, let...

In my opinion it is C. I grouped "...with no great seriousness or dedication" together. Because the original sentence had excepting, I figure the sentence needs a word that relates to the word "excepting." I was split between A, C, D...then I wittled it down to C and D....then I ...

Okay, say we use the same image above, but remove F. We have Pentagon with points ABCDE.

In order to solve, we now use 5C3, correct?

I guess it makes sense. Say we have square ABCD and ask how many triangles, then we use 4C3, correct?

Thanks in advance. You guys are awesome.

Can you not simplify the problem as Freshy had done? I understand what he had done by believing he already had data 1, but I want to say that kind of simplification cannot be done and I'm hoping someone can explain it to me. That was pretty slick how you did that, Freshy. I didn't think about doing ...

Damn, after reading what Nikita and Pandey wrote, I'm back to choosing A or D.... But I still want to rule out D because there's no way it can happen. The most moderate rainfall that can happen is 1.99 inches of rain in 1990 and the least is 1.00 in 1910. 1990 rain cannot go above 2.0 inches. If the...
