Snark has the right response as far as taking the class for your application. However, HBR is the best business publication I know of. Therefore, its classes are probably very high quality as well.

Thank you for the replies. Slightly different topic, but hoping someone will read this and reply. I've made an effort to list the website for each of the organizations I've been a part of (where I feel it is important) because I want the ad com to be able to verify/get a feel for each of the organiz...

Okay, thanks for the response. That information was collected from Wikipedia, which is certainly not 100% reliable.

Experiential learning classes does not sound as valuable for me.

Professional Resume - Word Count

I'm seeking advice on word saturation for the resume on my bschool application. Because the resume for school is different from a resume for job-hunting, I'd like to know if it is okay for the resume to be quite jam packed with words. In a traditional professional resume I would make an effort to ke...

Obviously, this is a very difficult decision to make. I don't have anymore experience than you, but after visiting the top business schools and NYU, I was shocked at how poor NYU compared in my eyes. Admittedly, I do have a very narrow perspective on school selection. NYU is obviously a great school...

Hi! Can you please provide more specifics such as what area of business interests him? Otherwise it already sounds like you know you are looking at Tier 3 schools, which makes it easy to find a list of tier 3 business schools.

Schools Teaching The Case Method

I'm surprised I couldn't find a pre-existing thread on this topic. To be clear, the case method is one of my biggest reasons for pursuing an MBA. I have experience with analyzing HBS business cases during my undergraduate business studies, and am quite fond of them. Also, I think that adhering to th...

Impact of pre-MBA employer's size & reputation

Is it better to work for a big multi-national company than to work for a small business in order to get accepted to a top-10 MBA program? Examples: Take the IT industry: a Project Manager at IBM vs. a Project Manager building websites at a small local marketing firm. or Consulting: Analyst/Associate...

I'm also interested in your question and agree with you steiny "the fact that I was young and unfocused, and at the time, had no intention of going to graduate school (and as a result, my GPA would play little or less consequence on my career)" This seems like a common excuse and poor way ...

Your reasoning makes sense and I agree with you, but if you look at OG practice questions there is only about 10-15% very hard material. Your score comes from persistent correct answers throughout medium, hard, and very hard difficulties. I too would like to learn if there is a reliable source for 7...

I answered my own question this seems to be an exception to the rules. Below is taken from the MGMAT guide: In many idiomatic expressions that designate qyantities or ~ such as a number of, the subject of the sentence is in an Ofprepositional phrase. These expressions provide the exception to the ru...

Both A and C are correctly written, but they have different meaning in whose life cycle the author is describing, the snails or the parasite. Because the original sentence is correct as written in referring to the parasite's life cycle, we should not change the meaning of the sentence by selecting C...
