Let 'a' be th average sticks in Box W.
Let 'b' be th average sticks in Box V.


Therefore the equation reads-
a - 18 = b +6
a-b(Diff in Box W & Box V) = 18+6 = 24 .

Plug in consecutive numbers for 'k' and 't' - will help work the question out faster.
For eg: k=6 , t= 5 ; k=7 , t=8
