I work in a very quantitative job (economic consulting) and all my coursework in college was very quant-heavy, so I'm not sure if maybe I can compensate for the low score without having to retake. Thanks guys. This may relieve you a little after scoring Q40. If I were you I would apply with the sam...

Dude! I could see that you belong to IIT group(Indian IT male :D :D ) the most over-represented applicant pool,so to be frank, unless you haven't been involved in some SAVE THE WORLD kind of project, chances are less for anything below 700( to be safe, I must say 750+ especially for early career app...

Well, first of all congratulations for such a great score. I may not be the correct person to answer your concern about quant score However,I feel that Q43 may draw some kind of suspicion among the adcom members. If you have taken some Quant courses or your major is Quant related background(say engi...

Re: using 1st person in essays

Had a question regarding AWA essays. I believe that it is preferable to not use first person in the essays. Would that hold only for Analysis of an argument or for both the essays? For example, in the issue essay, in the 1st para when one is taking a stand, can we use words like " Some believe...

Hi,
Could you be more specific about which "other way" are you talking about?

Are you talking about using some educational agents(who in fact show big dreams and later turn up as cheats!)

Hi Vivek, I agree with DanaJ, your scores, especially the last 750 does not stand anyway near your actual GMAT score. I must say, go ahead and launch a complaint. Meanwhile, I would like to advice you, don't leave studying because even if Pearson Decides in your favor and ask you to give again, you m...

Well...to be frank, you don't need any study material. You just need to practice. Remember the difference between a successful and unsuccessful person is that, the successful person knows the exact answer while an unsuccessful one know almost the exact answer but not the exact one. If you could incr...

I agree with Shadowsjc that Q50/51 depends on the D-day! What you can do is try out few more tests to check whether you are scoring well in the range of your target score. For Quant, I am the wrong person to consult, I didn't study Quant other than GMAT Prep Q's :D :D :D :D For SC, 1000 SC's can be ...

Hi Ritesh, I believe if you practise for a month, there is no point that you loose your consistency. But I would like to ask you one thing, if you can take GMAT Now and you are confident about scoring your target score, why would you delay further? It doesn't make any sense at all. Also, if you stre...

I would say practise and only practise can help you. Following the Test pattern for one day is not gonna help. You need to set your biological cloak in such a way that the time you are gonna take the exam must have to be the most active time of the day. Try to sit for long hours reading stuffs( I us...
