Agree with yellowho. Rahul, at the point (11/17 , -9/17) both a + 5b + 2 = 0 and 4a + 3b - 1 = 0 where as 2a - b - 4 = -37/17 This point satisfies both statement 1 and 2 and still does not satisfy the eq y = 2x - 4. So here,even after combining (1) and (2) the eq (2a - b - 4) need not necessarily b...

D IMO.
After World War II began, the cycle repeated itself.
Cycle is:
1)films typically trumpet the glory of sacrifice and unquestioning patriotism (Guadalcanal Diary)
Then
2)morally fraught(The Bridge on the River Kwai)
and from line 2 we can say Morally fraught and pacifistic are not same.

yellowho, I think its Option E Since t has 8 odd primes(sum of even number of odd terms will be even) and we also know that the sum of the terms of t will be > 2(because the leat possible term in t is 3) we can say that E is defitely not true(because 2 is the only even prime).Rest of the cases are p...

K is a set of numbers such that if x is in K, then -x is in K, and if each of x and y is in K, then xy is in K. Is 12 in K? (1) 2 is in K (2) 3 is in K I would love to hear your rationale on this question. Personally, I find the solution to be a bit puzzling. questions stem: is 12 in K? OR -1, -2, ...

Yeah you are correct. I did something similar to you (see above) got stuck at .25+3z/400. I was wrong earlier. If you sub out the .25 to .25(1+3z/100). Its not easy to see that in the heat of battle. What was your instinct on this problem? Number plugging? oops. i don't know how to move this. jaxis...
