I solved this expression and the last simplified result i got was :
1 - 2y/(y-x+3)

so definitely we need X also. Please let us know the source of this question

In the end this forum provides a great way to vent out frustrations whilst on the journey of our laborious studies! Yes indeed! But there are other useful resources as well.
