Dont base your decision on the MGMAT scores, I scored on MGMAT verbal always below 35 and on the GMATPREPS i have scored always above 35. IMO the MGMAT verbal is more difficult than the real one.

Focus on the Official guides those are the best.

DS strategy?

Can anyone tell me what's the strategy to answer DS questions? I normally read statement A) without reading statement B (i even try to hide it with my paper) and then read statement B).

I use the DA/BCE strategy

But I have seen that other ppl usually start with B). How do you use this approach?

I have to tell you that you are probably not ready. By taking the GMATprep more than 2 times you will start to see the same questions and you will know the answers which will inflate your score. I did the same mistake and thought that by getting +650 on the gmatpreps was a real indicator of my score...

C) Initiated on Columbus Day 1992, five centuries after Europeans arrived in the New World, Project SETI pledged a $100 million investment in the search for extraterrestrial intelligence.

Isn't Initiated on Columbus Day 1992..modifying. five centuries?

Thats why I discarded C.

So Dissapointed !!!

Ok let me share my story, Took the GMAT for the first time and got a 500. I was so nervous in the exam and I had never practiced with timing that I couldn't complete neither verbal nor math. I prepared myself studying from MGmat guides (did 5 guides) and 6 MGMAT CATs and every CAt i got a 580 score....

I have a question regarding the point where you get
(x-y) = +/- 3

While using the crtieria of x>y , i dont understand why to chose the

x-y = +3 and not x-y= -3 ?

If x is greater than y , you could get -3 as an answer also.
