I do agree with you that just scoring 600 on TOEFL does not automatically mean you'll score in the 50th percentile on the GMAT. of course, those people who scored 600 and in the 50th percentile on GMAT must have put a lot of effort for the gmat. I think it might be a good idea to put the TOEFL aside...
